How Safe Is Intake Of Primolut Post Menstruation?

Is it safe to take primolut n after the periods have started I.e. on the first day? What will be the side effects and will it be ok to continue taking the medicine for 3-4 days? Are there any problems in future after taking this medicine as I m unmarried?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and would like to express my opinion. The use of Primolut N is usually safe in ordinary doses but I do not understand why you would want to use it for only 3-4 days after the onset of the period. This can cause irregular bleeding pattern. The side effects are those seen with any other hormone medication and include gastric disturbances, breast tenderness/engorgement, irregular bleeding/spotting and the rashes. There is no future problem for a single short term use. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
