How Painful Is To Have Cystoscopy, Ureteroscopy, Lithotripsy With General Anesthesia?
I am a 65 year old male 195 lbs vetran and am about to have cysto-retrograde possible ureteroscopy with holmium lithotripsy in 5 hours at Bay Pines Vetrans hospital day surgery with General Anesthesia. My question is how serious and painful is this. thank you .

Relax completely.
At Specialty centers, this is going to be as if a routine procedure.
General anesthesia will not any pain at the time or even after surgery.
Only if the fragments of tissues , blood clots or stones get impacted after surgery , that you may a pain. This too will not be there as they will put in the stents.
