Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your situation and problem. Tuberculosis needs atleast 6 months of treatment. It carries 2 months of intensive phase of 4 drugs (Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, isoniazid and Ethambutol) and atleast 4 months of continuation phase of 2 drugs (Rifampicin and isoniazid). Tuberculosis is 100% curative, so don't worry about it and finish the enture course of treatment. This infection spreads by droplet. Being a dentist, you are at high risk of tb Infection. So always wear mask during your dental examination and procedures. Take high protein diet and antioxidants rich diet to maintain good immunity.
