How Much Time Does Sunburn Take To Heal And Which Medicines Speed Up The Process ?

I had gone to Goa in the first week of April. When I came back on the 6th,I had a sunburn on my forearms. The dead skin has peeled off a bit but not entirely and some dead skin still remains.I apply a moisturizer to it everyday. How long does it take for a sunburn to heal? What can speed up the process? When would I get my normal skin colour back?

hello
sunburns usually burns ur living tissue due to excess exposure to ultraviolet rays.
The destruction of lower layers of the epidermis causes rapid loss of the top layers.
avoid exposure to the sun and take precautions to prevent future burns by applying sunscreen lotion.best treatment is patience,if condition is mild. Most sunburns heal completely within a few weeks.
have plenty of water in a day.avoid goin out in sunny heat as it will aggravate your condition.applying moisturizer is good idea orelse you can apply aloevera gell also.if condition is severe your noticicing severe burns or any blister do consult near by skin specialist or homeopath doctor.
you can also apply calendula ointment (homeopathic oint)
