hi am 33 years old and i have g6pd , i want to ask how much mg of iron does my body need

Hi fawz,
you need around 10 mg of iron daily. however the most important thing would be to avoid ingesting oxidants such as fava beans, certain drugs like sulfonamides, in such a condition when there is hemolysis the iron needs increase. Hope that answers the question
