How Long Will The Spots On My Lung Keep Me Alive?

I had melanoma 3 years ago and had it removed. Had pet scans every 6 months and everything was goo until my last scan. It came back with 2 hot spots on my rt lung. They want to start me on Yervoy because the melanoma is spreading. My question is how long will this keep me alive?

In my opinion you should first consult oncologist for this. melanoma is very notorious when comes to prognosis and spread. Since your lung show hot spot, this is not a good thing in respect with prognosis. And no doctor can tell you exact time for your life. But lung spread in melanoma carry poor prognosis.
