How Long Will The Bleeding Continue Post Intake Of Mifegest Kit?

My wife taken mifegest kit 1pill on 12feb15 at 10am and 2pills orally at 22pm after that heavy bleeding with clotting started since 13feb morning. Again she taken rest 2pills on 15 Feb but continued bleeding , on Dr advice again taken 2-2 misoprost pills in the gap of 12 hrs on 23 feb 15 but bleeding continued with some nausia and vomiting symp. When will bleeding stop is there any other medication/precaution required?

Hi,

I really appreciate your concern for your wife. If this is heavy bleeding then it needs to be investigated instead of trying to manage this with some hormone pills.

Heavy bleeding may cause the shock. So, it is better to get the ultrasonography done. Hemostatic drug needS to be given to stop the bleeding.
