Hi
Welcome to Healthcare magic.
Tizanidine is a centrally acting muscle relaxant drug.
It is a short acting drug and has an half life of 2.5 hours that means the drug levels will fall to undetectable values by 12 hours and the drug will be totally out of the system by one day.
It is well tolerated by most but some patients may have excessive drowsiness as in your case.
Avoid this drug in future.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
