How Long Will It Be Before Synthroid Takes Effect?
My doctor has changed my dosage for my syntroid and has me taking 75 3 days a week and 50 4 days a week. My period has been 14 days now and I know it is from my thyroid that it won't stop. Do you have any idea how long before the new dosage takes effect and my period will stop. Because of my period I am now anemic and have to take iron 2 times a day.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypothyroidism and you are taking synthroid. It will take apprx. six week to develop full effect of changed dosages. You should check your TSH level after 6 weeks and then set the dosage accordingly.
