Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I tried meth for the first time a couple of days ago. I didn t do an abundant amount. I am now coming down from my high. I was curious as to how long it lasts, and if there is anything I can do to help speed up the process. I also would like to add that I am never going to use it again. With that being said, will I continue these symptoms? Or after I come down will I be back to my normal health? I am a 19 year old who used it to help study for an exam. This was the first hardcore drug I have ever taken. I have only ever smoked marijuana and drank the occasional beer from time to time Thank you for your help,
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
First of all, it is unfair to seek help during examination. The only help is a hard work. Stay natural, Life has a lot of examinations ahead, so you would need a lot of meth to settle them.
Methamphetamine has half life of 4 to 5 hours. So, getting it out of the system is the matter of hours. But, withdrawl and asking for more of it would be intense and might need an addiction related psychiatrists to avoid any unnecessary troubles.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shafi Ullah Khan
