How Long Should Subutex For Opiate Addiction Be Taken?
My husband is on subutex for opiate addiction. He s had a prescription for 6 months but has been taking suboxone and subutex for about 6 months prior to that. How Long does this form of treatment last? Could it be causing his body odor to smell like cat urine?

I must tell you that subutex and suboxone can itself cause dependence. These are just replacement therapies for opium dependence patients. These drugs are to gradually weaned off. Otherewise these can themselves cause dependence and lead to severe withdrawls. Please ask your doctor about this.
