How Long One Has To Be Hospitalised For Pre-eclampsia During Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I have preeclampsia and I am 26 weeks pregnant. Blood Tests are fine. Urine has some protein level about 323. I have high blood pressure to 170. It is controlled by medicine from NHS UK. They have kept me in hospital and I want to go home.

Hi
Pre-eclampsia is a serious thing especially when accompanied by proteinuria. Depending upon the gestational age, your gynaecologist might have admitted you and that's needed for your and your baby's health. Blood pressure if not controlled, can lead to serious complications like seizures (eclampsia) and certain other problems so you need in-hospital care for BP monitoring.
