Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

A biopsy may create a small surgical wound created when taking the sample. Under normal circumstances it should heal in a week or 10 days. However you are advised to take lots of fluids for some days followed by soft bland diet for a while. This will allow the would to heal early. The biopsy result is most important for you and hope it comes out fine. If you have any blood vomiting and severe pain then please contact the doctor who did your biopsy.
