How Long Does Tuberculosis Take To Cure?

hi doctor sir, i am srikanth 23 years male. weight is of 46kg and height is 5feet4".I am a TB patient and taking medication from past two months.Though it has been two months I am still getting the fever daily.In the sputam test (Acid Fast Bacilli) it was found that +3 Tb.And more over I am getting knees pain aand joint pains from past one month because of the increased amount of uric acid in the blood.Can you please let me know how long i have to take medication to come out of tb?

I can understand your concern.
Usually TB treatment should be taken for at least 6-8 months.
Your joint pains are mostly due to high uric acid levels.
So pyrazinamide should be stopped and replaced by levofloxacin.
Since your sputum is still showing 3+ bacilli and you are having fever, you should definitely rule out MDR (MultiDrug Resistance) TB.
