How Long Does Marijuana Stay In The Body During Pregnancy?

Hi there, I am a new mother.. I m about four months pregnant now and I smoke a lil marijuana to gain a appetite.. Iv heard and done research that marijuana has no birth defects.. Iv also heard that if they find pot in my system there taking my child away and that s the last thing I want.. I would like to know how to clean out my system or if I should even be worried about it. Thank you.

well.... the book is out on long term subtle effects on learning. Certainly by 3 months, marijuana is out of the system of even most/nearly all very heavy users. For one use, it is out of the system by 1 week. With occaisional use, maybe 2 weeks but more likely ONE week. stopping at 4 months, it just isn't going to be there at delivery.
