How Long Does It Take To Reduce High Cholesterol?

I am 34 weigh 150 any my cholesterol is 294. My Doctor put me on a strict diet and excercise for the next 6 months. My question is, how fast can I expect my cholesterol to lower? I have begun eating oatmeal with no butter and 1% milk once a day and 2 cups of cheerios. The rest of my diet is lots of fruit and veggies and meals with 10% or less of the Daily value of cholesterol.

Hi,

You will notice some reduction already in a month.
But if you continue your diet and exercise, which is strongly recommended, it will continue to reduce during the following months as well.

Regards,
