How Long Does It Take To Reduce MCV/MCH Levels In Blood?

How long does it take to lower MCV and MCH values (at 101.5 and 34.5, respectively)? I have been drinking about 1-2 drinks per night most nights of the week (usually on an empty stomach) for the past year, and just got blood results back. I was quite startled, and a bit afraid. Needless to say, I stopped drinking!

Welcome to H.C.M. I am Dr Krishna Dubey.
My dear friend , in alcoholic patient red blood cells become macrocytic (size is increased) M.C.V is increased and MCHC also changed.

Your red blood cell will be normal and M.C.V and M.C.H.C will come in normal range after avoiding your Alcohol.
Thanx for query.
