How Long Does It Take To Recover From Chlamydia And Gonorrhea?
i left my husband three months ago for cheating and started seeing a man two months ago. about two weeks into the relationship he started having problems with burning after urination and itching of the butt. We both went and got tested and were treated that day for chlymidia and gonoreah. All medications were taken day of not to be spaced out for a few days. We were told that within forty eight hours of taking the medications we would be fine. We waited three days just to be safe and used protection before we had sex, but he did preform oral on me. We just found out today that we should have waited seven days before any contact at all. Do you think because it was the 1000mg dosages that we took that it would be strong enough for us to be ok or do you think we still have a problem?

Usually, if the infection is diagnosed in the initial stages, then taking the proper treatment helps to cure gonorrhea symptoms in around 2 days. However, the person would still have to continue taking the medication for as long as directed by the doctor. Otherwise, this will lead to developing into antibiotic resistant strain. In case there are complications, the cure of gonorrhea symptoms will be longer than 2 days
