How Long Does It Take To Fully Recover From Typhoid Fever?

I was suffering from Typhoid and got treated with antibiotics, however even after taking full course I am having fever arnd 99- 99.5 and even feel tired after some normal exertion. Is it normal or does Typhoid takes times to go. Doctor is advising not to do anything and take proper diet and rest. Please advise. I am worried if I need to take second opinion.

It will take at-least two to three weeks to recover fully from typhoid fever. As rightly said by your doctor just take proper diet and rest as you had already completed the full course of antibiotics. Don't worry you will be fine soon.
