How Long Does It Take For HIV To Start Showing Effect?
Dear Doctor , i had a sexual exposure 2 days back , how long would it take , to find out if i have contacted HIV or any STD.I did not penetrate the sex worker , however she put on the condom and masturbated my penis.she also sucked my chest during the course.

HIV is contracted by having sexual intercourse with out any protection( condom) with a HIV positive person.
In your case you did not participate in Sexual intercourse so you can not contract HIV.
As early as possible to detect for HIV there is a NAT (Nucleic acid amplification test) Which will detect even in days time also.
