How Long Does Heart Work In Person With Brain Dead Condition?
My boyfriend just died February 16 and they found him in the bed wirh foam coming out of his mouth and nose his heart was still beating they took him to the hospital and and said he clinically dead what is this cause ? And how long can you go without oxygen to your brain

brain dead is a condition in which brain is no longer in working condition. still heart, kidney,liver,eye can work for a short time.brain dead occur commonly in trauma, cerebro vascular injury,anoxia etc
so you can utilize time in brain dead person for organ donation. In brain dead person organ donation can be done and organ are taken from a brain dead person and used for many people suffering from a misery and require organ transplantation. organ like kidney, heart,eyes can be donated to needy patients.
regarding heart function, heart can beat on itself without help of brain. so in brain dead person heart beat continues until heart gets oxygen.
