How Long Does Fever And Pain Due To Dpt Vaccination Last?

hi..my daugther is 3 and a half month old...yesterday she had her third vaccine of dpt...it was a dpt3+hib II+hip B II+opv vaccine..
but now she is crying a lot..i have checked she had some fever this morning but now there is no fever and still she is crying so much
as advised by my doctor we gave her a dose of prescribes syrup..then she sleeps well..when she wakes up..she again starts crying..
now my question is how long we can expect a fever or pain due to this vaccination..is it 2 days or 3 days..plz let me know

Hello. I just read through your question. Regardless of the immunization, or how many immunizations are received at once, fever and/or irritability can happen and it can last for 2-3 days. It will usually not last longer than that. If it does, it's worth another conversation with your doctor. In the meantime, you can try using cool compresses to the injections sites to alleviate the discomfort.
