I have an injured knee from a fall...it seems ok other that weight going down stairs, squatting ok..standing has pain...going up stairs ok...just the bend and weight down...will this get better with time or did I really hurt something that may not heal?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Knee injury of mold type usually heals within a week. Your symptoms suggest internal derangement of knee in form of meniscus injury. I would advise mri of knee to rule out meniscus and ligaments injury. If it's normal to should start active physiotherapy in form of quadriceps and hamstring strengthening excersise. If it comes abnormal please consult arthroscopic surgeon nearby you and get yourself examined.
