How Long Does Marijuana Stay In The System?

Hello sir/ma am, I have smoked weed once from an estimated time frame of 6 hours on that specific day and less than 1 gram. Maybe mid grade quality? Assuming. That was 30 days ago and prior to that, I have not ingested any since 7 months before my last use. I have a military DT coming up in 7 days, so it will be 37 days in total of being clean. I took a cheap at home drug test from my first dirtiest urine of the day and passed with a normal line but not as solid as the other testing strips since I ve never taken any drugs besides weed. My concern is, do you think I will pass? The line was barely faint, but comparing it to the other lines that I have no history of usage, I d say the line from the THC was 85 percent there without dilution and first dirtiest pee of the day since I woke up (100 percent being completely solid for the line) I m 5 7, 160 lbs. and my body fat is 25% just to give you a general idea. Please help! Any info that is relevant would be kindly appreciated!

Hello,

Marijuana can be detected in body from as early as 6 hours of consumption to as late as 90 days in heavy regular smokers. You are suggesting that you are not a regular and heavy user of Marijuana. So I can suggest that the drug and its metabolites should be eliminated from you body in 6-15 days. 30 days have passed since your last usage and you still have 7 days before your test. Thus, more chances are there that your body will be free of THC by that time.

However, there are some ways that can eliminate the drug faster from your body if you apply them for next 7 days. THC is fat soluble. Your body fat is 25% which is beneficial as there is less storage space for THC. Avoid fatty food for some days.

Drink lots of water. Water is the best way to dilute toxins and eliminate them from body through urine.

Do exercises. Walking, running, strength exercises and swimming are great ways. You will perspire more during exercise and THC will be eliminated from your body through sweat. Also, exercise will make you drink more water and that is beneficial too.

To conclude, I would suggest to refrain from use of marijuana as it causes many short and long term physical, mental and social adverse consequences. You are also running a rink of being addicted to it.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthCareMAgic. Good luck for the test!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
