How Long Does Doxycycline Take To Cure Bronchitis And Asthma?

I have asthma,cop and now bronchitis.Iwent to the er and they put me on Doxyclcline and a rocephing shot 4 days ago.Im taking 60 mg predinosone and btxs every 4 to 6 hrs.I feel better ,but why I am still sob? it really scares me.The Dr. also said I had a couple spots small opf pneumonia..How long does it take for Doxycycline to work?I had a zpak in 5 days I felt better in jan.when I had the same stuff.Help me,Pls...

Good evening.. Well Doxycyline is still not the first line of drug for pneumonia. I am not sure why you have been started on it.You need to try some inhalers of salbutamol along with oral steroids..If it is infection, you may need to try Levofloxacin or Clairithomycin...
