Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Morphine is opioid which is having central pain relieving action. It is used to alleviate pain in patients with terminal stage cancer.
So she is mostly having severe pain due to cancer and doctor has started morphine drip for pain management.
This is not a good sign for prognosis.
She might be having less than 1-2 month.
So you can definitely meet her.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wishing good health to your friend.
Thanks.
