How Is Laryengitis And Bronchitis Treated?

Ok I am a nurse. I have had 10 weeks ago I was diagnosed with laryengitis and bronchitis. I took 10 days of levaquin 500 mg a day. SO now I still have the froggie voice ..it has been since April 15 ..It is better but I am so fatigued . I have another appt at a walk in clinic tomorrow. Maybe for steroids. My fear is this will make my nerves really be on edge. Any help?? Thanks Laurie

From your history it looks like you are having chronic laryngitis.
Treatment of it is
1. Elimination of infection(that you have already done)
2.avoid irritating factors like smoking,alcohol,polluted environment,dust,fumes etc.
3.Voice rest for weeks to month.
4.Speech therapy.
5.Steam inhalation twice a day.
6.Expectorant like Expect A syrup 5ml twice daily.
