Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Is Chest And Arm Pain Due To Exertion Treated ?
I have a ruptured and herniated disc on my neck. My right arm/ hand has been weak and tingling and my right shoulder too has been hurting from a pulled muscle since January. I worked out without weights for the first time since January yesterday and cleaned house today...now my chest on the right side under my arm and around my breast is sore and cramps when I bend over. Is this just from over exerting?
It could be, but the neck disc should not involve nerves which supply the chest wall. Shoulder pain may also be unrelated. If symptoms persist, an up to date MRI is advised
