How Is A Fetal Heart Beat Confirmed?

HI my sister-in-law is Pregnent(8 weeks now). She is advised to get abort, because of no fetal heart beat. If so what we have to do now?She already told me that the hospital is not doing good . what can we do now? Can we do another ultra sound to make sure of the fetal movement.?

Generally by 7 weeks, if there is no cardiac activity seen, termination is advised.
This is best done surgically so that tissues are obtained for biopsy.
