How Effective Is Nyquil Cold And Flu Nighttime Relief For Mono?

I believe I have mono and have been tested by my doctor but am waiting for the results. He told me to use ocean nasal spray and prescribed me penicillin vk of which I ve taken 6 doses but have forgotten both at work. Can I take NyQuil cold & flu nighttime relief?

hi, thank u for approaching healthcare magic team. From your query I understand that u have an upper respiratory tract infection. you have to be treated with an antibiotic like pencillin for bacterial infection. NyQuil is only for the relief of symptoms but doesn't cure the infection. if you are unable to take too many doses of penicillin per day, then there is an alternate antibiotic like Azi once for 3 days which is equally effective. So please approach your family physician for the compliance issues. thank you. please get back for further queries.
