Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir

Yes type 2 diabetes can affect mobility and sleeping patterns, by causing faulty hormonal autoregulation in the brain.

There are so many harmones responsible for the brain functioning such as seratonin, dopamine and nor adrenaline, when ever there is diabetes, it affects more than one organ causing disturbences in the hormonal autoregulation.

Secondly hyperglycemia causes increased fatigueness and increased diuresis which inturn causes sleep disturbences in most of the cases.

So there are more than one factor always plays a role in the sleeping patterns disturbences and mobility.

Thanks
