How Does Herpes Simplex 2 Affect The Human Body?
I was hospitalized on April 29th. And before I was admitted had a complete blood screen taken. I have since been discharged on June 12th. I was going through my mail and I opened my blood test results. It show that I am positive for Herpes Simplex 2. I was never notified by my doctor and I just had an appointment with him 2 weeks ago and no mention of my positive result. I am very upset about this and would like to know the best way to approach this matter. Also, should I be taking medication? What are the effects of having herpes? I do believe it to be analyzed since I recently had sores in that area and I am experiencing severe digestive issues. Thank you.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is not the clinically active infection then this is nothing to worry because such report is indicative of old history of viral infection then nothing can be done here and this is nothing to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
