How Does Lomofen Help In The Treatment Of Stomach Disorders?

i am 80 years old and my doctor advised me to take lomofen whenever i have turbulence in the stomach n o need not take any other medicine and i find 95 % of the times it helps I am curious how this medicine acts on the stomach .can any one give an answer

Lomofen is a combination of atropine, diphenoxylate and furazolidone.
Atropine relaxes your intestine and helps to relieve the spasms. Diphenoxylate, an opioid derivative also reduces the moments of intestine walls. Furazolidone is an antibacterial and antiparasitic agent.
