Walking is a very effective way to bring down BP. Also, try drinking lots of water. You can add a lemon to your water, lemon is a natural diuretic
(sheds excess fluids from your body). Also, avoid caffeine, i.e. coffee, soda, chocolate... Weight will also effect BP. And find something you enjoy, something that relaxes you, something that is soothing... music, TV show, sitting with pets (it is scientifically proven that pets lower a person's BP), working on a hobby, going to a place in nature that is peaceful... anything, and try to fit it into your routine a few times a week. is also a big factor in BP. Are you stressed? If so, find some way to let it out, safely. Anger is another cause... But exercise and increasing your water will be big keys. It is a lifestyle change. And don't forget to cut down on your salt intake. Check the labels for sodium (salt) and don't add more to your food.
