Welcome to the above drugs are used separately or as a combination to treat Hypertension(high bp) and its after effects like congestive cardiac failure.Diuretics are a class of drugs which cause excess urination and hence reduce excess water which can biuld up in heart.beta blockers block response of endogenous catecholamines such as epinephrine and norepinephrine.Calcium channel blockers are substances which block calcium channels,The most widespread clinical usage of calcium channel blockers is to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
ACEI are Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors reduce the activity of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system.thereby useful to control bp especially in younger individuals.
