How Can We Check If My Boyfriend Has Hernia Problem ?
My boyfriend hurted his testicle while working.He has it a little swollen and he thinks that he might have hernias. He is 24 years old. We haven t gotten any treatment because we do not know what to do or what doctor to go to so we were wondering what we have to do to get it checked?

hello,
welcome to HCM. If you have some doubt about hernia then you should visit a general surgeon. but the diagnosis can also be done by a general physician so thats also the option. Does he have any bulging on coughing? Perform this simple self examination. usually injury cant cause hernia....but since there is swelling, he has to take the general treatment ie. some antibiotics, painkiller etc.
