Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a vaginal infection. A doctor prescribed metronidazole which seems to have side effects involving nausea and vomiting. I m extremely sensitive to stomach illness. I had a vaginal treatment before for an infection, other than a yeast. I cannot recall the name of it. Can you suggest something I might ask for when I call my doctor s office?
in my opinion you should see if any discharge is there, what type of vaginal discharge u have ,colour ,odour .Any other symptoms associated ,like burning sensation .and is there any redness ,or swelling present .All this you should describe to your doctor .Then doctor can prescribe you the appropriate medication.Hope you are benefited with my answer.
