How Can Ulcerative Colitis Be Treated?
I know I am not spelling any of this right, I hope you can figure out what I am trying to ask. My granddaughter has the worse case of ulcer colitis that he has ever seen. That she will have to be on Keno for the rest of her life. They don t won t to remove the colon because she is only 23. What is her life expectancy?

There is no cure for ulcerative colitis as such. Since, it is a genetic disorder ans auto immune disorder and is predisposing factor for colon cancer. It has been manifested in such a age, colonectomy is not advisable.Sorry to say,She should be on steroids for the rest of her life.
