How Can Typhoid Fever Be Treated?

3 times Typhoid fever last 3 months and last time took 14 days ceftriaxone inj 2 gm 2 times daily, 15 days ago ALT sgpt 116 and esr 60, after 25 days ALT sgpt 106, and found HbsAg reactive rate 2140, now what can I do?? I m 21 years old. I think my liver already damaged and it is now so bad condition? I m poor so have no money for expensive treatment.

Hi,

Yes, it can be treated by use of right recommended antibiotics. Some times the diseases become resistant to the antibiotics and that's why there is need to change and monitor the blood and stool for the signs of cure or recurrence.
