How Can Transverse Myelitis Be Treated?

My father is suffering from transverse myelitis. His first attack occured in May 2016 . Steriods was given and he recivered and was able to walk. But reocurred in oct 2016. Again was given steroid injection. Did not recover much so rituximab was given in mar 2017. Not much recovery yet. What treatment options we have now?

I can understand your concern.
Some viral infection can also cause transverse myelitis.
So trial of anti viral (acyclovir) should be started along with steroid injection.
Physiotherapy is also beneficial in some cases and should be tried instead his case.
