Hello i have a question. Apparently i had a tampon lost inside of me for a month. It just came out of me today and i had no idea it was there. I had a foul odor upon removal which o used a water and apple cider vinegar homemade douche i used. Now as the day passes i am having cervical tremors or spasms i can feel and it burns and aches like as if i just had rough sexual intercourse. It feels dry but it aches. Do i need to go to the er?

Hi,
You need to see the consultant as soon as possible. There could be infections in your cervical region that should be treated soon to avoid any spread. They might also take some swabs for culture and sensitivity.
I would not say you are already in toxic shock syndrome. You would not be roaming around if you had it and it is a very serious syndrome .
Please get yourself examined by your consultant and take the full course of medications as prescribed. Hope the above information helps. Thanks.
