How Can The Side Effects Of Lipitor Be Managed?

I am currently taking lipitor and haveing weird side effects I see people and carry on a conversation with them I woke my husband up ecause he eard me laughing and talking to someone . When he came ovr to me and shook me I came back to reality this has been going on for a year every since I started taking it along with other side effects but this is the worst one is this common.

I understand your concern.

Lipitor use is associated with various side effects. Confusion or memory issues (as in your case: see people, carry on conversation with them, laugh and talk to someone); should be further investigated by neurologist.
We should rule out other neurological problems like Alzheimer first.

If no such problems, then we can confirm it's from Lipitor use. Stop this medication and report as side effect to your doctor. Ask to get further examined by neurologist as this has been going on for 1 year now.
