How Can Swelling On The Leg Due To Insect Bite Be Treated?

Hi my 9 year old daughter got bit or stung while at the park. Now she has a large red swollen area on her leg. it is warm in comparison to the rest of her leg and tiny little blisters appeared as I think because of the swelling. We live in Florida if that helps. She is not experiencing any nausiousness, or or anything like that. Just uncomfortable and itchy. I gave her some Ibprofean with a topical cream. Any advice?
