How Can Severe Skin Allergy, Fever And Cold Be Treated?
Dear Sir, My father is about 73 years and suffering in severe skin allergy problems since last 2-3 years. we are making treatement at various doctors. Now he is suffering allergy+fever+ feeling very cold+ looks very inactive. Please advise at where & to whom i have to consult. He is now at Brahmapur, Odisha. With such presentations in my clinic, I would first rule out infection. To confirm diagnosis I may suggest you TWBC, DC and an ESR test. Treatment depends upon investigation report only. If infection found he will be given antibiotics and if viral infection found supportive treatment is required.
For skin allergy, I may suggest my patients an anti-allergic medication like Levocetirizine. But prolong day use is not recommended at all, root cause will be found from blood test suggested above. Please let me know if you have any further questions before meeting your primary care doctor.
