I recently starting painting a condo I just moved into. After the first night of painting the cathedral ceilings, I was in pain ... I thought I had just used muscles that I normally didn't use so I continued with my work. After a few weeks of painting 3 nights a week, I had to finally stop, the pain was too much. Now it hurts badly when I move my arm certain ways, my sleep is interrupted from sharp pain, and most times I can feel pain into my forearm. The pain is in the front of my forearm, my shoulder and radiates from time to time ... I also experiance a tearing sound when I move it. I have a very high tolerance for pain but I bartend for a living and this is really affecting my work. I did break my clavicle bone, same side, 9 years ago. Could this be arthritis ... I am going to turn 62 in a few weeks, but I am very active and my work is very physically challenging. I feel like I get my exercise daily from work and walking.
