How Can Severe Itching On The Arms And Legs Be Treated?
I have my wife who is suffering from severe itch for now 4 weeks. The itch initially was thought to be something of the skin and was given a steroid. The redness and hives on her stomach spread to arms and legs covering 80% of her body. The last thing it was thought to be was fungal. Its been a couple of days and it s not getting better following protocol for this.

The itching all over body could be due to -
---Allergy (steroids would help.. but withdrawal of allergen is needed for complete relief
-- fungal infection.. needs local antifungals/avoiding damp &moist skin that favours fungal growth & perfect body hygiene. May need oral antifungals
-skin conditions like scabies.. atopic dermatitis.
You need dermatologist's advise &specific treatment.
