How Can Severe Intracranial Hypertension Be Treated?

I have been semi diagnosed with intercranial hypertension. I am on a waiting list to receive a lumbar puncture. Over the last few days my vision has gotten worse, my head and neck hurt, and the tinnitus in my ears is loud and pulsatile. I m feeling faint and very tired.
