How Can Seborrheic Dermatitis Be Treated?

Hi-what is the best treatment for scalp dermititus? I did see a specialist for this and used 2 Rx shampoos but they didn t clear it up - dr didn t seem to think it was very bad at all but it just still won t clear up totally - i have read that tar shampoo may help? what is your opinion? What causes this -stress by any chance?
