How Can Restless Leg Syndrome And Cramps In The Thighs Be Treated?

I do have restless leg syndrome. For the past 2-3 weeks I ve been waking up after about 3-4 hours sleep with Charlie-horse like cramps in my thighs. Muscles tighten up and have a burning sensation. I do take clonazipam when I go to bed. The past few days I ve been getting the cramps occasionally during the day. Have been in both thighs but manly in the left. No known injuries. Even after getting up and walking around for an hour, still hurts but not as bad. I need more than 4 hours of sleep and now my cats think this is fun, food at 3-4 AM! Sorry, can t afford.
