How Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed?

hi My name is pawan from india, in oct-16 my checked up pregnancy test which showed positive. we even did blood test HCG which also showed postive with count 5.3, but when we went for sonografy result came negitive. post that we checked up urine sample again the result came positive, we are confused what exactly should we consider, till date she has not got her periods, requesting for your suggestion for the same

pregnancy test with strips available can be done with a drop of urine. it can be done at home. blood test in laboratory can be done and if positive then pregnancy is confirmed.
